CR. HEUFF. x POLAR KING
CROCUS HEUFFELIANUS x POLAR KING. I do not know exact origin of this Crocus – we selected it among seedlings from seeds received as Crocus ‘variabilis’ from one of Scandinavian BG. Seems that one of parents was C.heuffelianus. Flowers white with violet spots. Similar to famous ‘SNOW PRINCESS’, but much larger and spots are more violet, not such purple and here it blooms a few days earlier. Here it grows perfectly on open beds. In any case, good addition to ‘Royal Family’.
